Camp Hemlock is a riff off of stereotypes in the horror genre while providing a more unique twist. Main characters Ruby and Nat discover a supernatural secret in a secluded cabin in the woods of Camp Hemlock where they work.

Artist Bio

Wren Halpern is a Motion Design and Animation major at the University of Connecticut in the Digital Media and Design Department. They have been passionate about art, storytelling, and animation since they were young and have always known they want to be creative in their career. They love illustration and storyboards and are also a writer and musician.
Horror is a more recent passion of theirs—as a kid they were always fascinated by the genre but more likely to look up plots on Wikipedia than actually watch horror movies. They’ve grown to really love the way that horror done right has an incredible power to show character depth, emotional journeys, and relationships in a way that is unique from other genres. One of the solidifying inspirations for their work is Mike Flanagan's The Haunting of Hill House, a ghost story that isn't really about ghosts at all.
