Artist Bio
Natalie Ciarleglio is a multimedia digital artist and motion designer from Middletown, Connecticut. As a UConn Digital Media and Design major, she has created several animated narratives that combine 2D and 3D assets, making visuals that invite the viewer to wonder and imagine alongside her. As a motion design specialist, she learned the fundamentals of animated graphics and their relationship to visual design. This inspired her to explore creating UI/UX and graphic design projects that incorporate animation. She strives to fully express her innovation, regardless of how the project takes shape. While she interned with the Division of Scientific Services, Natalie’s collaborative film project, Mystery on Prospect Trail, was showcased for a high school audience during the 2025 National Science Week. This project featured her animated graphics, sound design, and video editing. From this experience, she aims to continue using her multidisciplinary skills to contribute to projects that can have a lasting impact on others.

Artist Statement
Snooze Support is an app prototype designed to help college students get better night’s sleep. This project was inspired by my own sleeping habits and by friends who are diagnosed with insomnia. College students like me are in dire need of restful nights and relaxation; Snooze Support provides a solution by offering a library of comforting sounds and a way to track one’s sleep. This allows users to gain a better understanding of their sleep habits and quality. By creating user personas based on the demographics of college students and understanding their needs, I produced a flowchart and design plan. Snooze Support includes a sound library, a sleep tracker, an AI chatbot called Snoozy, and a queue system based on research patterns. Snooze Support also provides comprehensive reports that visualize their sleep health. I created a motion design advertisement that showcases the prototype and core functions of the app. A walkthrough of Snooze Support gives the viewer a closer look at its features. Additional physical elements are a pamphlet showcasing pre-production work, as well as customized stickers.
