Baneland is a 2D action platformer about Mutant Task Force agent Raine Rivers, who is exploring a dangerous training virtual realm known as Beta-3. As skunk girl agent Raine, the player must jump, dash and evade obstacles to find DNA artifacts scattered around the virtual world, of which synthetically boost her powers and attunement to her genetic mutations. In this demo version, only one long level is currently featured, with more to come in the future. The game is themed around eras of dystopian grunge and dark aesthetics. The harsh and unforgiving yet rewarding gameplay design is meant to invoke a sense of determination and teaches the player about perseverance.
