For Granted is about a fish who lives their day, it’s a parallel narrative animation. On the left we see the main character when she was younger and on the right in her adult years. The audience sees them live their everyday lives witnessing the contrast between the joyous and cheerful life of the young fish and the dull and tedious life of the older fish. The message of this animation is that life is always changing and that we should cherish every moment of it.
