Augustus is a 3D animation telling the story of a dog detective named Augustus who has to solve his own mystery when his prized dog bone is stolen. Augustus has to search the town for clues, leading him to an unlikely suspect. The project focuses mainly on character design and modeling and lighting while utilizing film noir style and tropes to portray Augustus’s journey of finding his toy.

Artist Bio

Madalynn Stewart is a Connecticut-based animator, graphic designer, and illustrator. She began drawing portraits of people’s pets in high school, something she still enjoys doing, which led to an interest in animation. As a student studying Digital Media and Design at the University of Connecticut, she has been growing these skills and focusing on her passion for creating bold, exciting work through 3D animation and Graphic design.
