Artist Statement

PROWL OF THE DEMON: ASURA HAYAGRIVA, directed by Pranav Nair, explores experimental vehicle design, taking inspiration from cars of the past and reimagining their future, pushing away from the current, mundane design language that leans towards minimalism and simplicity. Cars have personality, and their design should showcase that emotion since it is the most memorable aspect of any vehicle. A car’s silhouette is its badge. The Asura Hayagriva draws on South Asian mythology, with “Asura” meaning demon and “Hayagriva” referring to the feared horse demon. Pranav’s original supercar aims to challenge conventional design through an adrenaline-packed story. Its aggressive design showcases its unmatched power and intimidating presence, all while remaining true to the identity of an Asura.
